Lily Starr, our favorite flautist, performed in her first concert tonight. Hottmans, she didn’t giggle. She didn’t hide behind a counter. We got to look at her AND smile AND clap even. It was the best 5th grade band performance I have ever heard…and I’m certain I’m not biased.

LILY LOOKS SO BEAUTIFUL IN HER RED DRESS AND HOLDING HER FLUTE. SHE HAD A PRETTY SMILE TOO. YOU MUST HAVE BEEN SO PROUD. I AM HAPPY SHE WAS CALM AND DIDN’T giggle under a counter. I wish Grandpa And I could have been there. Tell Lily we are so proud of her. Love, Mama xoxo
