Lily is obsessed with Harry Potter books. Started the first one on the 4th of July and finishing it today. I am so jealous. I wish I was experiencing the magic for the first time.

I think the STEM conference was exhausting for Noah. The boys get a few days to enjoy the California sun!

We had a girl day! Lily and I have had a great week and bonded a lot, but I think we are ready to get the boys back. Lily made them a welcome home cake. I really missed Noah when I had to mow the lawn! I hope he pays me because it was hard work.

So it turns out we were lucky last night. With Nathan gone, I often say bad things happen (dogs vomit, ceilings crack, etc.) but last night a bad storm came through the Quad Cities and we did not lose power! Mike and Alex were over, and Mike helped me set up the generator just in case (thanks Mike!) He also comforted Lily who was losing it without her Papa.
