We had a warm-up in the Quad Cities today. I think we hit 30 degrees in March! So Nathan and I leashed up Jack and Lola for a nice long walk in the neighborhood. After the walk Lola said: “One day in a row. Good job guys.” (That dog is so sarcastic.)
When I talk to my Mom on the phone, she thinks I need to take some time for myself. She likes to hear that I usually get a massage on Fridays or take time to relax on weekends. My Mom would be very proud of my day today. I had the day off of work, so I went to one of my favorite aerobics classes at the Y. Then I went shopping at Kohl’s (purchasing only clearance items of course)….
I am in my 2nd semester of grad school. I’ve finally mastered doing homework with SpongeBob’s voice in the background. Today Lily had an essay to write and a book talk to prepare for, so we studied together. Lily only got 4 hours of sleep at her sleepover last night, so she was a little frustrated by homework until I introduced her to white out. She has never used white out before. She said it’s like painting nails and allows…
Nathan and I had a date with Noah. Lily got invited to a sleepover, so we asked Noah what he wanted to do. Of course he picked going out to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings. Noah loves sports, wings, and root beer…so B Dubs is paradise for him.
