Snow Day!

Today was a snow day. We got over a foot of snow. In fact, it is 5 pm and still snowing. We survived 6 hours without electricity. And we did a lot of shoveling. Lola grew a thicker coat than normal this winter…and I think this is why. Jenn and her pup Annie came over for a 4P night. Jenn and I started the 3P night in Idaho: PJ’s, Pizza, & Pitt (Brad Pitt movies). Last night we added a 4th P for pie. Jenn taught Lily and Annika how to make pizza dough and pie crust with her amazing mixer. Then we watched the movie Troy which Grandpa Tackett had and I discovered while cleaning last week. It was an A+ 4P night.

Noah texted after his skiing trip that skiing is his “new favorite thing.” Apparently he is a natural and wants to hit the slopes again soon. Whew!!! While Noah went to his friend Zach’s house for a sleep over after skiing, Lily had her friend Mya over for a roller skating party and sleep over. The girls had a blast together and made costumes for roller skating: Nathan and I dressed in 80’s garb (Nathan with a Miami Vice feel)…
