I made Noah’s 13th birthday video last night. I still remember working on his first birthday video. This was one of my favorite pictures…the boys having fun after a tournament. We travel to the Wisconsin Dells on Friday for a 3 day tournament and some water-park fun!
Here is a picture from Lily’s last soccer game of the spring session. She is leading the pack with the ball and headed towards the goal. We were very impressed with her improvement in soccer this year. She loves the game…and gets lots of exercise!
Happy Mother’s Day! Especially to my mother who birthed me, had tea parties with me, put up with me during the teenage years, and has always tells me I am beautiful. I got to pick what we did today, so you know I chose the zoo. I always do. And I think even Noah had fun.
Lily and I had a wonderful weekend at Camp Abe Lincoln’s Mother-Daughter Retreat! Just 24 hours but we got to canoe, swim, try archery (not our strength), got on lots of hikes, makes smores, play board games, watch Frozen, go on a night hike, see turkeys flying into trees and a perfectly still deer, and attend a princess tea party. I think we made some memories to last a lifetime.
Today would have been my Grandma’s 97th birthday. I started the day with a great phone conversation with my Mama. It turned out to be the most beautiful day we have had so far this spring! I planned a surprise retirement party for my friend Pam for Friday night. She was so very surprised that she cried and cried. I was pretty proud of my trickery. Here are Rick, Pam, Nathan, and Alex.
