Hooray for Mexican food!
Hooray for Mexican food!
Noah’s 13th Birthday was a beautiful day in the Quad Cities. He opened presents in the morning and was thrilled with the loot. He go a cool outfit from Grandma and Grandpa Hottman, MONEY from Aunt JJ and Grandma Tackett, Sequence from Aunt Lori, a desk from Mom and Dad, and lots of clothes including a nice polo from Lily (for his STEM conference). Oh and Lola got him a gift card to his favorite restaurant Buffalo Wild Wings. I…
Noah’s last game as a 12 year old! They won, and he had 2 great hits and threw a mean curve ball from the mound.
Lola and I went for a long walk by the river while Lily was at volleyball. It made us feel better. And Lola pooped six times.
I had to make the decision to euthanize Jack today. He was 14 years old, and he spent those years loving me unconditionally. The least I can do is write a blog about LBJ. We adopted Jack at the age of 6 months from a neighbor when we lived in our first house. Jack didn’t have a good first 6 months, and he was a neurotic dog from the start. Ironically he would wake us up in the middle…
Lily, Lacy, and Claire. They have a few things in common…old brothers who play a lot of baseball and a love for swimming pools!
Noah did some great pitching at the tournament in Wisconsin. His favorite part of the weekend was playing baseball. He loved the turf fields, and I sure appreciated no dirt or grass stains on his pants. Noah said the fields made him feel like a pro. His second high of the trip was the waterpark with his buddies.
We have the pool all to ourselves!!!
Just hanging out with this guy. 1 week and he will be 13!
My new desk at work!
