Noah is quite the hard worker these days. He is detasseling in the morning which means a 5 a.m. wake-up. Then in the afternoon he is attending college for kids with classes on robotics, engineering, and Microsoft. He even manages to mow our yard!
Lola doesn’t know what to do without Lily.
Lily is off to camp for a week! Here she is all packed and ready to go. And Lily on the way to camp with the toiletries she is so excited about. And Lily in her bunk at camp! Meanwhile Noah is enjoying golfing now that baseball is over. He is busy this week with detasseling, college for kids, and mowing the lawn.
We ran our 2nd family 5K of the summer. We ran the zoo run in Lafayette, Indiana, with our friends zookeeper Leanne and her boyfriend Andy. The weather was perfect and then we toured the zoo, swam at a water park with a lazy river, had lunch, and went to the beach at the Indiana Dunes. What a grest weekend!
Finishing Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets…on to the third book!
Lily used pastels to recreate one of Grandpa’s wstercolors. The best part is that she signed it in the same spot “L Tackett” just like “W Hottman.” Art class really has her on a roll!
Lily took a sewing class and made a dog bed for our friend Jazmin’s little dog Sebastian!
Lily drew me this beautiful bird in art class today. She loves working with pastels.
Lola and Lily won a trophy at the library pet show last Friday! I forgot to post this and just realized that’s why Lola isn’t talking to me. Lola or “champ” shook the hands of the judges. She had some tough competition, but the girls walked away with a trophy!
Happy Birthday Aunt Lori! We celebrated by reuniting. T4 together again!
