Nathan and I running by the river.

I ran the Quad City Half Marathon with my girls: Liza, Stephanie,  and Dawn.   Last year we did the full marathon and then Liza had an accident and nearly broke her foot off of her body.  Amazingly she worked up to 13..1 miles!  She’s my hero.

Lily and her Papa.  Lily ran a one mile race today, played 3 volleyball games, finished the 5th Harry Potter book,  & watched the 5th Harry Potter movie.  It was a good day.

We had an Arrested Development hash this week, and I went as the Mom Lucille Bluth.  What do you think?  

Here is Nathan with our friend Amanda.  She was diagnosed with lymphoma last week and started chemotherapy Monday at the hospital where I work.  Her prognosis is good, and she finishes her first round of chemo Saturday.  Sunday Nathan and I run in a relay team for the marathon in support of Amanda along with our friends Betsy, Jazmin, and Amanda’s very pregnant sister, Lindsey.
